The new NOW is on the stands and on the interwebs, and my cover interview with Amber Heard is something worth reading, if I do say so myself. She’s a really interesting actress and a remarkable person, and it’s a pleasure to have the sort of conversation that I had with her … even if AT&T seemed to be actively trying to garble every other sentence. (On a related note, the audio clips are worth the earstrain.)
Elsewhere in the issue, I call attention to this weekend’s portion of the Nicholas Ray retrospective down at the Lightbox, and review the opening-night gala of the 2011 Brazil Film Fest, screening tonight at the Lightbox. Tickets are still available for all of ’em, I believe.
