I was off last week, so I missed out on a lot of the movies opening today. But I’ve seen a couple, so I still get to have opinions. I’m predictable that way.
Clara: Akash Sherman’s debut has cosmic ambitions.
Dead in a Week (Or Your Money Back): Hitman comedy with a cracking cast.
Happy as Lazzaro: Cannes charmer pops up on Netflix.
Nothing Like a Dame: Take tea with British (acting) royalty. [Susan]
The Possession of Hannah Grace: Pretty sure I’ve seen this before.
Prosecuting Evil The Extraordinary World of Ben Ferencz: A truly good man, properly honored. [Rad]
Roma: See this at the Lightbox, immediately. [Sam, but I wrote about it too]
Tiger: Inspirational boxing drama has good intentions.
And Rad took a look at HBO’s new documentary Say Her Name: The Life and Death of Sandra Bland, and found it wanting.
