This week’s Sympatico/MSN DVD column is up, celebrating “Smiley Face” and Anna Faris’ spectacular go-for-broke performance.
I’ve been a fan of Faris ever since the first “Scary Movie”, and her fearlessness and enthusiasm are what keep me coming back for the sequels. She even made “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” briefly tolerable.
But if you want to see the full range of her brilliance, check out Gregg Araki’s affable stoner comedy, which gives Faris a proper starring role and lets her loose.
Oh, and bring chips. You should totally have chips with this!
it was the President Garfield bit that almost made me wet myself.
Good call. Rented it last night. We pissed ourselves…
