Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married?” — which I review in today’s Metro — has conquered the box office, opening at #1 with an estimated $21.5 million and knocking “The Game Plan” to second place after two weeks on top.

All this despite going virtually unrepresented in Canada, playing as it is on just a handful of suburban Toronto screens. And despite being kind of terrible … though not as terrible as Perry’s Madea movies, so that’s something.

Oh, and “We Own the Night” came in at number four with $11 million. That’s also something.
