There’s not much going on cinematically this week, but if you’re in Toronto and in need of some air conditioning you should definitely check out TIFF’s twinned Hitchcock/Truffaut retrospective, which is using Kent Jones’ very good documentary as an excuse to trot out a library of classics. Hey, anything that puts Day for Night back on the big screen is fine by me.
