Obviously Trump has a lot of hard-core followers who responded to his racist, misogynist, nativist message, a veritable basket of them, but what do you think will happen when the disaffected, angry white males in the rust belt realize he’s not going to bring their well-paying manufacturing jobs back?
Absolutely nothing. He’ll tell them he fought for them against a rigged system, and they’ll believe him.
Sadly, you are probably right on that.
