We may be done with the festival, but the festival ain’t done with us. This week, “Afghan Luke” — easily the worst film I saw at TIFF 2011 — flops into theatres, and in the latest issue of NOW, I talk to Vik Sahay, whose performance has an integrity that the film simply can’t process. He arrived having memorized my review, which made for an interesting ice-breaker. But we got past it, and had a really good conversation. (It probably also helps that I’ve really enjoyed his work in “Amal” and “Chuck”, among other things.)
MSN has yet to post my DVD column, by the way. I do not know why this should be.
