Even though Hot Docs is still rolling merrily along, I’m forced to shift my attention in this week’s NOW to the Toronto Jewish Film Festival, which gets underway tonight with a big splashy gala.
I won’t be there myself, you understand. I’ll be out at the Revue Cinema to introduce a screening of the original King Kong — presented in a 16mm print, complete with shorts from 1933 — for this month’s Classics Revue.
Doors open at 8:30pm, with the show starting at 9pm. You know, if you’re in the area.
