A couple of interviews for you today, because I am a person who talks to people.
First, for MSN Movies, I had a bit of a chat with Benjamin Mee, the journalist whose life became the basis of Cameron Crowe’s “We Bought a Zoo”. The movie takes some pretty broad liberties with Mee’s experience, but as you’ll see, he thinks it got the broad strokes right.
And over at the NOW website, I’m in conversation with Peter Bogdanovich on the occasion of tonight’s free screening of “The Last Picture Show” at the Lightbox. It’s the only Canadian stop on TCM’s Road to Hollywood festival, and it should be a great evening. Tickets should still be available here (pdf link).
There, that should give you something to do. Me, I’ve got several piles of DVDs to work through …
