In about half an hour, I’m heading up to Toshiba Canada’s offices in distant Markham for some kind of Paramount HD DVD demo thing.

I’m not entirely sure what’s left to tell us, other than “Transformers did really well!” and “Boy, our players are a lot cheaper than Blu-ray players!”, but I am a gracious sort, and if someone bothers to invite me to something, I usually go.

Burning question: “When do we get this on HD DVD?” Because, after all, such awesomeness was made to be presented in 1080p/24.

If any news comes out of it, I’ll pass it along. But if all they want to do is screen clips from “Shrek the Third”, I’m gonna be pretty pissed.
