You may notice something a little different in the film section of NOW this week — specifically, my piece on the increasing sophistication of American television, in contrast to the dumbed-down movies that clog the megaplexes this time of year.

Hey Norm, a completely unrelated question: Do you know if that Ray Winstone movie, “44 Inch Chest”, was released in Toronto theatres? Did I completely miss it?
It hasn’t been released in Toronto yet, but I’d be curious to know if it’s coming.
Image picked up the rights in the US, so it’s likely to be with E1 Entertainment up here … probably direct to disc. If I hear anything, I’ll let you know.
