As part of this week’s NOW package, I talk to Brad Bird about his return to animation with Incredibles 2 after more than a decade away, as well as the physics of action sequences and some other stuff.

I may have some reservations about the movie, but Bird is always worth talking to. (I just wish MSN hadn’t disappeared our 2011 conversation about Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. That was a good one.)

But that’s not all! I also got to interview Domee Shi, writer-director of the Pixar short Bao, which is playing with Incredibles 2 theatrically and may be the weirdest thing ever to come from that studio. Yes, even weirder than the Cars movies.
