The BBC is reporting that a meteorite that crashed in southern Peru has sickened hundreds of people with noxious fumes.
Experts have explained that any toxic gases released in such an event would be terrestrial in nature, sealed underground until the impact of the meteorite sent them flying into the air.
But then, they have to say that, don’t they?
I know how this goes. You hear anything about a sudden spike in Latin American chatter about triffids and/or zombies, you drop me a line, okay? Better safe than sorry.
