So here’s a fun fact: Mark Little delivered the single funniest stand-up set I have seen in my entire life. I can’t even explain it, because it defies explanation — just a guy singing along with a tape loop and pointing at a box of props for eight solid minutes, riding the razor’s edge between perfect control of the crowd and total disaster. It was exhilarating. I’m not even sure he knows how he did it.
There is no stand-up on this week’s episode of Someone Else’s Movie, but Mark is plenty entertaining all the same, talking about his childlike love for Fred Dekker’s 1987 horror comedy The Monster Squad. I am … fond of it, but also aware that it’s kind of a mess. So we talked about that! And other stuff!
