Over at the AV Club, something wonderful has happened: Writer Josh Modell has watched John Carpenter’s “Big Trouble in Little China” for the very first time, and the result is both a fine celebration of a uniquely weird movie and an interesting essay about experiencing a cultural artifact removed from its context.
As usual for the AV Club, the comments are as much fun as the article. Maybe more so, because they’re all about “Big Trouble in Little China”.
