Affleck, that is. Who’d just rung up to chat about his new cut of Argo, arriving on Blu-ray this week in one of Warner’s elaborate boxed set deals just in time for the holiday season. And Affleck being Affleck, that conversation — represented here at MSN Canada — was enlightening and reasoned and surprisingly frank on a number of levels. I like the guy more every time we talk.

Also, the Toronto International Film Festival group announced Canada’s Top Ten for 2013, and it’s a pretty decent list for a reasonably okay year, as our nation’s cinema goes. I wrote some thoughts about the features list for NOW, with a little more to come on the shorts in Friday’s web column.

Also also, I’m still sick. But I’m getting better, so that’s nice.
