Double Crossed

Just the one interview in NOW this week — with James Patterson, the novelist whose work serves as the basis for the Tyler Perry suspense thriller “Alex Cross”. Um, yeah.

Also, I take a look at some films in the ImagineNATIVE festival, and later today there’ll be a web piece on the Revue Cinema’s centenary celebrations. After last week’s insanity, it’s nice to be working at a slightly calmer pace, you know?

Oh, but there is one other thing: Helping out with our coverage of the International Festival of Authors, I wound up writing my first book report in three decades. Awesome, huh?

I shouldn’t help people.
