It’s a thin week for movie releases, so aside from a few reprinted TIFF capsules I don’t have a lot in this week’s NOW. But I can direct you to my online interview with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who is pretty great in the indie drama “Smashed“, which had its premiere at the festival earlier this week.

I mean, come on, she’s Ramona Flowers! And the best thing is I’d been talking to Stacey Pilgrim just half an hour earlier. But that’s a story for another week.

… well, actually, the best best thing was that Lucas Lee was also around, but I didn’t get to see him. So much for the trifecta.
