This week in NOW, I take our readers through the Canadian Film Festival and the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, both of which featured far more movies than I was able to get into print. (Sorry, but there’s only so much space these days.)

I also have some ideas about the expectations under which Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives tomorrow in something people used to call a thumbsucker but which I prefer to call a thinker. Jesse Hawken, that shaving joke is for you.
