To The Wonder

This week on Someone Else’s Movie, I’m joined by Stuart Hughes — an actor you’ll recognize from his appearances in Orphan BlackMurdoch MysteriesRepublic of Doyle, It and the recent adaptation of The Drawer Boy, to discuss Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven.

What surprised me about this conversation was the way Stuart approached the film: through its performances. I suppose I should have expected this — why wouldn’t an actor focus on acting? — but given the Malick of it all, I was prepped for theory. But we found common ground, which makes for a pretty good episode.
