It’s Hot Docs time! And I’ve got this year’s cover story, an interview with Alison Klayman about her intriguing portrait of an artist and a nation, “Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry“.

I’m all over NOW’s review package, too, and there’ll be more titles added in the days to come. But we mustn’t neglect the larger movie world this week, because there’s an Aardman movie opening in it. I spoke to Peter Lord last week when he screened “The Pirates!” at TIFF Kids; now you get to read the interview! (And be sure to listen to the audio; he’s delightful!)
