In this week’s NOW, I’m part of a critic’s round table along with Chris Rattan and Susan, and we discuss how the Me Too movement has led to a reckoning for Quentin Tarantino — though in his case, it’s really more about the parallel Time’s Up movement, and how he’s being held to account for his disregard for safety in the name of his art.
I see that as symptomatic of a larger problem with Tarantino, which oddly enough does ride right back to his patron, Harvey Weinstein, creating protective bubbles around his prize artists. Read the piece, it’s all there — especially in the web version, which is maybe three times the length of the print piece.
