So much for Rise of the Guardians, huh? Breaking Dawn, Part 2 continued its bloody reign at the top of the box-office charts over Thanksgiving, grossing $64 million over the holiday weekend and keeping Skyfall and Lincoln at bay with $51.1 million and $34.1 million, respectively.

As for Rise of the Guardians, DreamWorks Animation’s latest would-be smash limped into fourth place with $32.6 million for the long weekend, once again suggesting that studios should maybe not roll out movies with Santa Claus in them until, I dunno, DECEMBER.
