Even though the most recent thing I saw him in was not one of his major roles (Catching Fire), what a pleasure it was to see him and Donald Sutherland together. Such gravitas added to those roles. Just watching them talk was as riveting as any action scene. From the span of his career, I remember both dramatic highlights (Doubt and Capote come to mind) and comedic ones (“Finnish! Who the hell learns Finnish?”). What a lost talent!
