But now it’s over, and we’re moved into the new place and almost allowing ourselves to relax. How have you been?
This week’s NOW features plenty of stuff from me despite all the non-keyboard activity this week. Want to know what comes out of me when I write about Blue Velvet in the middle of a wicked summer cold? Yeah, you do.
I also threw out some ideas for July moviegoing in this week’s Hot Summer Guide. And I took a look at the What The Film Fest, which is starting up tonight at The Royal, just up the street. Which makes the stress of the last few days seem worthwhile.
Interesting that you mention Roger Ebert’s “art is not in what a movie is about” quote. Ebert famously loathed Blue Velvet.
