Seriously, someone had to explain this?Perhaps I was a little hasty in condemning Harvey Weinstein’s blame-the- audience spin on the failure of “Grindhouse” earlier this week.

On the way into a screening of “Knocked Up” at the Sheppard Grande, I found this image tacked above the movie’s poster …

  1. Kinda reminds me of when video stores had material on display to help explain why the “black bars” at the top and bottom of their TV screens are normal when watching a Widescreen DVD.

    You can try all you want, but stupid people are never going to get it. I’m checking out “Grindhouse” tomorrow night and am looking forward to seeing it in an empty theatre…
