“The breach” being the Toronto International Film Festival, of course, which … actually seems fairly manageable this year. I’m sure I’ll come to regret that statement before too long, mind you.

(You’ll be hearing a lot more about both his performance and Steve McQueen’s terrific film in the weeks to come; just remember where you heard about them first.)
