Instead of anything approaching serious commentary on the recent string of European filmmaker deaths, I offer a link to the Onion AV Club’s interview with Andy Samberg, whose big-screen debut “Hot Rod” opens this Friday.

Samberg’s one of the few new-media comics to fully cross over into conventional entertainment, and he’s got some interesting things to say about making the transition.
