This week’s NOW finds me talking to Baltasar Kormakur about his new movie. No, not the one with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg — the other one, The Deep, which he brought to TIFF last year during a break on 2 Guns.

I’ve also got a thing about the Leos Carax retrospective at TIFF; shame Tokyo! isn’t included, since without it you can’t fully appreciate Holy Motors … but then you could say the same about dozens of other movies Carax references gleefully in his body of work. It’s just that this one happens to be his own.
