Somebody asked me if I’m up for another 200 episodes of Someone Else’s Movie, and I have to admit, I hadn’t really thought about it. As long as people keep coming up with sharp choices that lead to intriguing conversations, it doesn’t feel at all like work, you know?
That’s the case this week, as Richard Clarkin — an actor you might remember from Great Great Great, Ordinary Days or Murdoch Mysteries , and who co-stars in the new feature film version of Michael Healey’s The Drawer Boy — joins me to talk about Sean Penn’s The Pledge. It’s a movie I hadn’t thought about in a good long while, but it still plays; in fact, these days it looks like one of the best thing Jack Nicholson ever did, which is really saying something.
