I get to talk to a lot of actors in my line of work, but there are a few I figured would be well outside the scope of my job. Legends, you could call them.

In the last 18 hours, I’ve met two of them. One was Elaine Stritch, into whom I happened to run on the 16th floor of my hotel last night — Upper East Side, gotta love it — and the other was the gentleman pictured on the right, at this morning’s press conference for “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close”.

Legends.

I mean, no disrespect to Sandra Bullock or anything, but … well, you know what I mean.
