This is a mighty fine month for the cinema. Parasite opened last week, and tomorrow Toronto gets Jojo Rabbit and The Lighthouse, two of the year’s most distinctive films. (And I’ve heard nothing but praise for Almodovar’s Pain and Glory, too.)

To get you appropriately pumped for Robert Eggers’ cryptic, delirious follow-up to The Witch, my Q&A with him just went up at the NOW site. No spoilers, of course, although I have no idea how it would even be possible to spoil this one. Get on it.
