Given how sick I’ve been this past week, I’m kind of amazed I have anything in the new issue of NOW — but I totally do! Next week’s pretty light, but that’s just how things shook out.

Anyway, pick up today’s paper and you’ll find me having another long, loopy chat with Guillermo del Toro (on the occasion of his new production Mama opening this week). And the release of On the Road gives me the occasion to rehash my TIFF encounter with Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund — and throw in some Walter Salles in the audio clips. But the movie’s still awful.

And now, I’ll excuse myself. The creation of this blog post has taken all of my strength, so I think I’ll crawl back to bed for a bit …
