Ooh, shinyThe focus of this week’s Sympatico/MSN DVD column is Tim Burton’s reclamation of his art with “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” — a magnificently bleak, bloody movie that’s easily the best thing he’s done in years.

I just wish they’d been able to fit Neil Patrick Harris in somewhere … he’s too old to play Toby the urchin, as he did in a fascinating 2001 concert performance, but surely he could have played the lovelorn Anthony.

I mean, everything’s better with NPH. Seriously, they’ve proven it.
