I won’t mince words: Atom Egoyan’s Devil’s Knot is pretty bad. Not the worst thing to open this week, mind you, but pretty terrible.
Still, Colin Firth does what he can to give it a soul, and it’s always a pleasure to sit down and talk to the guy, so that’s what I did at TIFF last year.
