Back and to the Left

This week on Someone Else’s Movie, Oscar-winning documentary producer Frederic Bohbot — whose first dramatic film Boost is now available on iTunes, and which I thought was pretty solid — brings Oliver Stone’s JFK into the studio.

And I have to say this: Whatever Stone has become over the last couple of decades, JFK is a hell of an accomplishment. And Frederic uses it as the locus for a wide-ranging conversation about inspiration, influence and the value of thinking critically as both an audience member and a filmmaker.
