They say you should never meet your heroes, but I’ve met a lot of mine and for the most part they’ve measured up.
In this week’s NOW, for example, I talk to Ai Weiwei about his new documentary Human Flow, a sprawling study of displaced people all over the world. He’s one of the key artists of the 21st century, and I got to sit down with him in Toronto — which I honestly thought would never happen.
