TIFF has announced Canada’s Top Ten for 2019, and it’s … surprisingly solid? I admit I haven’t seen the Dolan, but there’s nothing on the list that made me roll my eyes. That’s something, and it seems to confirm that Canadian cinema is in a really good place right now.

Would have been nice if they’d made room for Goalie, though.
