In entirely unrelated news, this week’s MSN DVD column focuses on Fede Alvarez’ Evil Dead remake, which is also pretty damn good (and produced entirely with practical effects, which Nick Park and Steve Box would appreciate). Elsewhere on the site, I interview Heather Doerksen, one of Pacific Rim‘s Jaeger pilots, and engage in a little thumb-sucking over why Ryan Reynolds isn’t a bigger star.

Not that these things keep me up at night, mind you. But an assignment is an assignment.
