The House Next Door provides more disheartening news in the 2008 Film Critic Massacre: Glenn Kenny has been dumped by Premiere.com, which terminated his excellent blog, “In the Company of Glenn”, a few days ago.

The blog itself is still up on the site, but wasn’t easily accessed when I clicked over. And I won’t be going back.

Fortunately for us readers, Glenn himself has not vanished; he’s already started blogging at his own site, and I can’t believe he’ll go too long before someone else snaps him up. He’s an engaging writer and an astute critic, and if he does have the odd tic, well, at least he’s up front about it.

Seriously. Somebody. Hire the guy, wouldja?
