Making an entirely unnecessary prequel to “Alien” wasn’t enough for Ridley Scott. The aging auteur says he’s already prepping a prequel to his other highly influential sci-fi venture of three decades past, “Blade Runner”. (Or it might be a sequel, he hasn’t decided. When one is waiting on Harrison Ford to commit, one needs to keep one’s options open.)
What’s next? A prequel to “G.I. Jane” where a digitally youthenized Demi Moore watches her hair grow? Or “Black Hawk Up”, the thrilling story of the morning hours before that disastrous mission in Somalia?
Anyway, my editors at MSN thought that was a good idea, so we ran with it. Enjoy!
