So I talked to actual goddamn legends Catherine O’Hara and Martin Short about their voice work in Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” for this week’s NOW, and it got a little weird. Within about ten minutes we were way off track, getting really serious about dead pets and the cycle of loss and all sorts of other grim stuff. That isn’t in the print version of the interview, but … well, check out the audio clips.

Also, “Dial M for Murder” is coming back to the big screen this weekend in a new digital 3D restoration at the Lightbox, so that seemed worthy of some ink. Fewer digressions in that one, too.
