The new NOW is out, and while Glenn’s excellent interview with Denis Villeneuve is the big feature this week, I’m kicking around in there too — I’ve contributed a list of economic-meltdown documentaries to our Money Issue, and nodded in the direction of Canada’s Top Ten, which screens its winners at the Lightbox this week … and which I’d previously evaluated here.
I have the weird feeling there was something else worth mentioning, but I can’t think of it right now. Umm … the new Decemberists album is pretty great; you can stream it here if you’re curious.
Sorry. It’s been that kind of morning, you know?
And in other news, what is your take on the announcement of Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises?
I trust Nolan, so I’m willing to wait until I see the movie before I form an opinion …
I feel the same way, though I’ll be curious to see how he works a 5 foot 9 Bane versus a 6 foot tall Batman.
Then again, the man flipped Paris upside down on itself, I’m willing to go along for the ride regardless.
